I showed up not that hungry so I had chips and ice cream. The chips were hot and delectable! I loved my tomato sauce which was complementary and I loved that they gave me a microwave container to take it all home.nI washed it all down with a coke, which is like the old-fashioned bar coka cola not the syrupy cola.nI had ice cream for dessert but next time may try the chocolate mousse!nAll in all, it's a great place to sit back relax, dine at the bar or in a restaurant and it's family and teenage friendly!!!nI took photos of my friends meals too!nThe staff is very friendly and accommodating too!!!
Fantastic spot for a drink and a bite after work. Great place for corporate events too.nFood was delicious and service was excellent. Both waitresses Sarah and Zara were amazing. The row market fish, kolhrabi, granny smith apple, tiger's milk, fingerlime and caviar was absolutely delicious. The spelt focaccia with olive oil and vin cotto were uttely scumptious. We would definitely be back for more deliciousness.
Cool venue, nice staff but stupidly expensive which you sort of expect from the area. roughly $17 for a pint…nMy family ordered the Pie and the Parma and we all agreed that it was the worst meal we have ever had in Melbourne. Not a single one of us finished our meal. I’m not even sure what protein you used in that pie, absolutely disgusting. Off might potentially I don’t know. never ever going back
Father's Day Sunday dinner...and the food was such a disappointment.nnThree of four of us had the Sunday Roast — the beef was rare, but there's a difference between rare and what we were served. Barely edible. The Yorkshire Puddings were simply raw dough: grey and stodgy with no air or texture. Unsure how the kitchen could even put this on the plate - inedible.nnThe fourth dish was the Beef Cheek Pie, which was also very poor. Had I have known there was bacon albeit just chunks of fat were in the pie, I wouldn't have ordered it. The description on the menu was simply 'Beef Cheek and Red Wine Pie'. There was also whole mini onions inside ??? and offcuts of meat which were pure grizzle.nnWord of mouth hurts.
Wednesday night $28 Steak night, perfectly cooked served with crispy hot chips and salad. Select from 5 different sauces. Highly recommend and we will be back again very soon.
