Established in 1989, and still a neighbourhood favourite!

Café Florentine is the ideal place for a business breakfast, a quick lunch, a glass of wine and afternoon nibbles with friends or dinner for a special occasion.

Florentine is a suburban gem with a tantalising menu featuring fresh seafood dishes, quality Australian meat, and specials that showcase the freshest seasonal produce.
At Florentine, we employ a passionate team of individuals that continually strive to make your dining experience the best it can be. They are led by our Operations Manager, Benjamin Garrard; Restaurant Manager, Hanne Johnstone; and Assistant Manager Jacquie Aronowicz.

You will be welcomed by our supervisors, Ashley, Mads, Rebecca, Chloe, and Alex, entertained by our talented floor staff, spoiled by the bar staff and dazzled by the talented kitchen team led by our Head Chef, James.

The interior, filled with warm mocha tones, creates an intimate, cosy atmosphere – with two fireplaces to warm you in the cooler weather. The restaurant exudes an understated elegance, with linen tablecloths draping the tabletops, and comfortable dining chairs. The design also features floor to ceiling windows that open in the warmer weather to allow you to enjoy the picturesque scene of Church Street.
Conveniently located next to Palace Cinemas Dendy, Florentine is the perfect setting for a quick dinner and drink before a movie – or a decadent dessert after.
