THE HEN HOUSE LIVE is coming to Badlands Bar. We’re launching September 2nd and we want YOU to be a part of it. The intimate 100 person space is a classic rock’n’roll bar dedicated to delivering live music from Perth bands, every Friday and Saturday night. It’s local, it’s live and it’s going to be loud! If it’s your first gig or your 100th, THE HEN HOUSE LIVE @ Badlands is made for a memorable show.

THE HEN HOUSE LIVE will host shows every Friday and Saturday night, with 2 sessions per evening, so we’ll be booking up to 8 bands each week and 32 bands a month. Register your interest below and let’s get you out of the rehearsal room and onto the stage!

WHAT IS IT?

THE HEN HOUSE LIVE is 2 sessions of local, live music every Friday and Saturday night, with multiple acts per session. Sessions start at 8pm and 10pm, after each session you’re given free entry into Badlands Bar where you can enjoy DJ’s, food trucks and late night booze till 2am.

HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED?

Register your band on THE HEN HOUSE LIVE page and we’ll get in touch. Don’t forget to register all your bandmates so we can quickly and efficiently contact you all with worksheets and gig info. It only takes 3 mins to register. Not in a band? Fine, just come on down and have a good time. Easy.

DO I HAVE TO REHEARSE AT THE HEN HOUSE REHEARSAL STUDIOS?

No! It doesn’t matter if you rehearse at The Hen House, another studio or in your bedroom – everyone is welcome. Our goal is to strengthen what is an already amazing WA music community, our arms are open!

WE HAVEN'T PLAYED A SHOW BEFORE. HELP?

THE HEN HOUSE LIVE is the perfect intimate setting for you to play your first show. We support new bands and are prepared to guide you from the rehearsal room to the stage.

DO WE BRING OUR OWN EQUIPMENT?

THE HEN HOUSE LIVE has its own backline to allow for quick changeover between acts, so NO you don’t need to lug all your gear to the venue. We’ll give you the full rundown of what we provide and what you’ll need to bring when we confirm your gig! Hooray!
