My granddaughter took me to see the Beatles tribute band The Fab Four. It was a wonderful,  entertaining evening, and from the advertising board at the front of the theatre, there are many more great shows to come. We'll certainly be going back for more. The staff are all wonderfully helpful, too.

We went for the Eivor and Sylvaine concert, its not the first time I've been there but the first time in the balcony. Sound and view was incredible, but, being app 6 foot tall, the seats are so small and close together that my knees were pressing into the seat in front, and we had to put our arms around each other to fit shoulders without having to sit forward. Just be aware to book end row seats if you're tall or broad shouldered.

Saw deacon blue here along with many other artists, love the venue real old school vibes, staff always very welcoming and never queue long for anything

I absolutely love this theatre and have visited this venue regularly for the past 30 or so years for all kinds of concerts and comedy shows. It is always a great night out when you can combine a performance with a nice meal at one of the many restaurants, cafes or pubs nearby. There are also lots of lovely shops nearby as well. The theatre staff are super friendly and approachable. I think the only downfall of the place is that there is not lift to get to the second level for those with mobility challenges. Seating is comfortable and the sound quality in the theatre is excellent.nnMy latest visit last night was to see and listen to Echoes of Pink Floyd. It was my third time seeing these amazing talents there. Another fabulous concert experience! Can't wait to return to see another performance of some sort!

Another great event put on by the Astor. I particularly liked the fact that there was some seating available. I can't stand for too long and having somewhere to rest was just brilliant.
