What a shambles.nFirstly phoned up and made a bistro booking, Arrived to be told we don't have a booking but can seat you anyway. Meals were fine. Then as we went to pay and split it into what we ordered the staff member on the POS system had no idea what she was doing! Called a manager once and stuffed it up the second time and didn't call to rectify it.nHopefully a future visit will be better.
Great food, good wait staff; attentive and helpful.nDisappointed with the charge for providing plates for a birthday cake though- $15 charge. Especially when a large group of people have all ordered meals and entrees and been buying drinks for a couple of hours. That easy poor form.
Best crew for miles around. We eat at the GT weekly, which speaks for itself. But the aspect of dining there that is truly extraordinary is the waitstaff. They are magnificent - without exception they are the most attentive, helpful and cheerful I’ve ever encountered. The management are to be commended for creating such a great working environment.
A good pub meal and a very comfortable stay in this nicely renovated old pub. The bed was super comfy and the shower in the private en suite was excellent. If we're coming through Bairnsdale again we'd happily stay here.
This was an absolutely amazing meal !!! The service was great also and with a smile. The waitress also knew how many fluid ounces was in a bottle of wine Dad loved that . The TBone was huge and the best quality cut and the flathead was so well cooked.nWhat a great night. Can’t wait to return.
