I am pretty disappointed putting this review in, as the pub was recommended by a few friends. Bistro and bar staff are friendly and knowledgeable. We went for lunch, and there were quite a few patrons. We ordered the fish and chips, plus the double patty burger. The fish batter was thick and dry, and the chips were well and truly cooked. The burger was sent back as the bun was over toasted / charred. There was a quick turnaround in fixing this issue. The meat of the burger was tasty and cooked well. However, once again, the chips were hard and dry. Possibly an off day for the chef, I'm not sure what the issue was. I would recommend here for a drink but not for a meal. Sorry, guys.

Grand Terminus Hotel: Excellent Food and Outstanding ServicennDuring my recent visit to the Grand Terminus Hotel, I was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional dining experience. The steak was cooked to perfection—tender, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service was equally remarkable, with professional and attentive staff who ensured every detail was handled seamlessly, from thoughtful recommendations to prompt and friendly interactions.
Dropped in for a quick dinner on a Sunday night. The pub was under renovations at the time but the main barman and staff were awesome and very helpful with orders, options and underpinned by solid service. Food was very good.
Pleasant experience overall. We had to leave early due to illness in family. Would have been nice for the operators to offer a credit for possible future accommodation. We spent $450+ for one night. I know, not their fault w had to leave. Just saying what would have been the right thing to do.
