Our recent 3 night stay at Mitchell on Main was excellent. We had stayed there for a night several weeks before this visit and didn't hesitate to stay again this time. We booked directly with the motel and received a welcome discount. Without requesting it we were upgraded to a bigger room which was very much appreciated as we were working hard each day packing up my deceased mother's home. The room was comfortable, clean and well equipped. The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. I would recommend a stay to others.
We had a great stay here. Run by a lovely young family - very friendly and welcoming. Although an older venue, room was very clean with a lovely updated shower. Thoughtful touch was the makeup remover cloth! Nice and quiet with some good spots to eat within walking distance. Can also highly recommend Mitchell Tavern - great food and service and an easy walk.nWe would definitely visit again.
It is a wonderful place to stay, A beautiful family run this Business and the service is exceptional. The owners and Jackie on reception are always friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Well worth staying here. Support local and book direct.
What a great room, large, comfy, nice and dark in the moring allowing us to have a sleep in. Greeted by a very friendly host and checking in was quick and easy. Room was clean and tidy and the bed and pillows extra comfortable. Walking distance from the V/Line station and not far from shops, restaurants and a hotel. If we stay in Bairnsdale again, this will be our first choice!
Really enjoyed the renovated and well appointed rooms with a retro twist. Shame the tobacco smell is very embedded otherwise it would have been 5/5.nStaff are so lovely and helpful. Really appreciated the stopover here after a long drive down from NSW on the way to Melbourne.
