With event tickets, it's easy to match a shuttle bus there and patiently walk with the crowd to the Gabba. No bad viewing spots, but be mindful the higher you get, it seems the more heat is trapped under the roof sails on hot days. Plenty of facilities and guides. Pack snacks if you save some dollars. Check the website for what's allowed for your event.
Last night, I went to watch Australia vs. Pakistan T20 match. It was an amazing experience even though the match was reduced to 7 overs instead of 20 because of rain and thunder storm lightening. The atmosphere was buzzing with the Pakistani crowds at the Pakistan Fan Zone. I would love to watch another match in the future, InshaAllah.
Great place to watch Cricket, got so many sections with cover from sun. home of Brisbane Lions and Brisbane Heat and of course, Australian Cricket teams as well. But no Free WiFi unlike Sydney Cricket Ground - which might sound like 3rd world .
