Awesome suburban stadium and home the Redcliffe Dolphins. Seen both the dolphins and Brisbane Roar play here as a home ground and has a great atmosphere for either code. The Dolphins Club is attached to the stadium and is a great place for a pre or post match meal or drink. Also has the Dolphins Central Shopping Centre adjacent to the stadium so you can support your local club by supporting local businesses. Parking can be a bit iffy on game day and public transport isn’t great.
We had a great first visit to Kayo Stadium to watch a Qld Cup game. I love the layout but wish there was more undercover seating from the rain, especially handicapped/wheelchair seating which was all out in the open.
Kayo Stadium, is a modest yet well-maintained venue primarily used for rugby league. As the home ground of the Dolphins NRL team, it offers an intimate atmosphere with a capacity of around 11,500. The seating is close to the field, giving fans a great view of the action. Facilities are clean and functional, though some areas, like parking, can get crowded on game days. The family-friendly vibe and passionate local crowd make it an enjoyable place to catch a live match, especially for those looking for a more personal sporting experience.nnNot the best parking situation
Boutique stadium that cannot handle big crowds. Expect to wait 20 minutes in line for a beer and thank Christ and Joh Bjelke-Petersen we don’t have day light savings. Bring your 50+ hat/sombrero sun glasses and anything else you have if your not sitting in the Des Webb stand
Awesome atmosphere, make sure to bring long pants and a good warm jacket as it picks up wind around the grounds. Food and drink selections are perfect for a footy event and reasonably priced.
