What a stunning place! The gardens here are incredibly beautiful and well maintained; a real pleasure to explore. 
The rooms are clean, comfortable and cosy and the beds just right for a good nights sleep. 
The buildings are also stunning with lovely wooden paneling and furniture, so it feels almost like stepping back to a more elegant time! 
As a family run business, the little personal touches make such a difference, and the hosts went out of their way to make our stay delightful.

We stayed here for a few nights after finding out our usual accommodation, the Gloucester, had been turned into a backpackers. Quite a nice place with a bit of history. The lake makes for a nice place to relax by. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There was an Aldi coffee machine in the room, so we recommend bringing some pods from home; they give you two per person per night, but one was decaf, and extras are a buck a pop.

We spent a wonderful weekend at the Forest Lodge Resort! The grounds are superb - having breakfast with a view of the lake and the forest behind it makes for a great start of the day, and the lake Gazebo is a delight in itself. The hosts, Ingo and Kerstin, really care about their guests and do everything to ensure that you’re having an enjoyable stay. Also, you’ll get an Australian wildlife experience in the bargain - the kangaroos and the bird life are amazing! We thoroughly loved it and are already planning our return!

Wow!  The Forest Lodge Resort is gorgeous.  The lake walk is spectacular.  The rooms are clean and tidy and the food is great!  Already booked for next year!!  Thanks to the Maass Family for being so welcoming.  It’s amazing what you’ve done to the Resort since you took it over.  Seeya’s next year!!

Pleasant tidy motel, close to Pemberton(walking distance) plenty of wildlife literally on the doorstep. We enjoyed a comfortable night and awoke to kangaroos at the window
