This bar kind of bring your whisky game to a whole new level. I'm afraid there are no "regular" bottles here, all top shelf, rare, and full of stories. the collection, their knowledge and passion about whisky makes the experience very unique and special, I truly loved it. The location is great. it's close to the city. next to Gertrude St where you can spend a lazy weekend afternoon, and come back to Elysian to finish the day with a nice drop.

Prepare your palette. Elysian has one of the widest ranges of whiskey for you to enjoy. Each corner of the globe is represented on their shelves and there is a price-point to match most tastes and wallets. This bar offers a great escape from the hustle and bustle with a quite living room feel.

100% could not recommend this place enough. As soon as you walk in the atmosphere is perfect, with beautiful jazz playing, and the decor so nice. The owners Kelvin and Yao are amazing with their knowledge and passion for whisky and it really shows. We had a nice time chatting with them about whisky at the bar, and I know it will be a place we will return to often during our time in Melbourne. Even if you think you don't like whisky, I would recommend popping in to see if there's something for you as they have hundreds of bottles!

An excellent spot for a dram, this bar offers what is probably Melbourne's best selection of unique and rare whiskys, and it's clear that they go to significant effort to curate their offering. Service is impeccable and just what you expect, attentive and professional, without pretension or overbearing presence. Highly recommended.

Really great environment. The bartenders are considerate and friendly and the drinks amazing. Particularly loved the espresso martinis.
