Good food, exquisite service and a good variety to choose from. Favourites for me was the Onglet and the Pasta Bake. Wasn’t the biggest fan of the fish but it was a more lighter and still tasty option. They had a calamari special that day but the standout for the entrees would have to be the WA octopus. Menu is constantly changing/ seasonal so get in quick. Cheese for dessert. French fries yum
Thank you to Sam and the brunette waitress who is from the UK whose name we didn’t catch - came to Marion for the first time last night after seeing it all over social media and it did not disappoint. The food was incredible, amazing friendly service, and the product knowledge of the staff left me and my friend feeling confident in the food/wine choices we made. It was a beautiful experience from start to finish. THANK YOU!!!
I’ve been wanting to come Marion Wine Bar for the longest time, and it didn’t disappoint! I LOVED this restaurant so much I came 2 times in a month and I actually wouldn’t mind going again soon. The food, the service, the vibes are all 10/10!! nn ½ dozen Sydney rock oysters $36n Flat bread, fromage blanc $6 x2n WA Octopus on toast, tomatoes, chilli oil $9 eachn Raw Tuna, picked celery $26n Proscuitto, persimmon $16n Mussels, cucumbers, nduja, fried bread & aioli $24n Baked pipe rigate, vodka sauce $32n 600g O’Connor Rib-eye, condiments $115n Fries $10n House salad, sherry dressing $10n EXTRA: Celebration CakennFor starters, the Flatbread is a must-order, we probably could have had one each but we wanted to save room for other dishes. Also loved the Octopus on toast, they were such a flavourful bite. For the Mussels and Tuna we had 1.5 servings as suggested by our waiter since there was 5 of us. I loved the mussels dish, it’s seems like such a random combo but the freshness of the cucumbers paired with the zesty vinaigrette dressing, worked well with the crunchy fried bread & aioli. We ended starters on a high and were eagerly awaiting the mains.nnFor mains we ordered the Baked Vodka Pasta, this was such a generous portion, and it was very saucy and not too spicy which I liked! ThenRib-eye steak was cooked to PERFECTION and even better than steaks I’ve had at steak restaurants, and the fries were perfectly crispy.nnAs we were celebrating my birthday that night, my friends surprised me with a Celebration Cake. If you are celebrating a birthday, book through their website because you have an option to add on the cake, 100% DO IT!! IT’S ONE OF THE BEST CAKES WE’VE EVER HAD!!! Amazing location and place. I’ve been here twice now, once for a set share menu for a birthday celebration dinner and second for girls night catch up. Food here is very delicious, loved the bread, definitely pricey place and from what I could tell, they had a great selection of wines but I am not a wine expert. Good vibes with good company, definitely add this to your wine bar lists or girl/date night locations!!
10/10! my partner and I are so happy with our experience here - we chose the chefs selection and paid a little extra to get the Ribeye vs. the Striploin thank you for letting us upgrade! every dish complemented one another. You guys made my partners’ birthday extra special to top it off! Thanks team
