This is my local pub and I love it! Daily lunch specials, with a different special for each night of the week. My meals have always been served quickly. The tavern also offers live music regularly in the sports var and has brought some exciting bands and acts to Cairns which I have enjoyed.

We were invited to the bistro with some friends, some of whom have had previous ‘history’ here. It was not good history either. What ever past problems this place had, seems to have been fully fixed by the current crew running the place. Great service and friendly staff, the food was enjoyable and not one of our party had any reason to complain. Perfectly satisfactory.

30min wait time. Too long. Chicken Parmi was great but they have trouble grilling a well done steak and served it burnt without the gravy we ordered. Saw A fellow diner having an issue too and waited another 20-30minutes to get it fixed, we didn't want to wait that long when it was already 8.30pm.

Everything about this pub from food to atmosphere is just OK. Other than the bands. They get some great live music and support Australian artists.

The staff are amazing. Food was fantastic. Great place to get out of the heat for a while.
