This is a place that the locals love for delicious food. The portions are huge and freshly prepared. This is not a white tablecloth type of place, but a place where you can bring your family for good food and drinks.
I tried the combo of kangaroo steak and crocodile schnitzel, basically the food quality is OK, but I don't feel surprised at all. I chose medium for the kangaroo steak, but it tasted like nearly well done beef steak; the crocodile schnitzel tasted quite similar to the pork version, but it's more chewy and the texture is less tender and a bit too greasy.
Very good food and great customer service. Lots of parking and lots of locals come to eat. And the pokie is always fun. Also there tradie parking when it gets full
We went there on a Wednesday night with 11 other people and it was very busy highly recommended you book. We are ordered the same time and it didn't seem very long before we all had our meals. They are huge and quite reasonable priced.I found the bench seat, a little hard to get on and off, so if you have a disability, tell them you want a proper chair to sit on. The toilets were clean and there was a disabled one, but there are a few small steps around, so look out for them. There is a pokies room if you want a flutter. There are 3 areas that you can sit, but if you don't mine being a little warm out side on the verandah, it is for you. I found it a bit noisy, but we were still able to talk.
Food so good we had to eat here 2 of our three nights in town. Entrees so big we shared it with another person. Kangaroo crocodile was great.
