We've been regular diners at The Duxton for the past 18 months. I don't know what changes have gone on in the kitchen over the course of the last 6 months but the quality of the food coming out recently has been quite poor and to be frank, its getting worse. So today (Saturday Lunch) I had The Duxton Burger... Well the buns might have still been fresh on Thursday and the meat patty tasted like it might have been put together on Wednesday. Friends had the Chipotle Brisket Tacos... Again, none too impressed, their comments were the brisket was quite tough and dry, a less than ideal flavour you hope to enjoy in a Taco. Such a shame as the quality of the food used to be spot on every time.

I thought you can never go wrong with the chicken parliament , but the Duxton proved me wrong. Literally everything in the meal was horrendous from the soggy chips to the bland chicken. Absolutely disgusting. You can tell that the cheese is the cheapest you can find in the shops: rubbery and greasy. The chicken was bland and I think undercooked? The female server at the bar who took my order also had the biggest RBF (urban dictionary: rbf). The worst part was the price: $27 with a surcharge on card. Safe to say I’m never coming back.

The street outlet part of the Duxton puts chilled water out for dogs during the hot weather...how could they not win you over. The coffee is great. The hamburgers, including the vegetarian halloumi are excellent and good value.

Had a great team lunch. Highly recommend the pork belly dish.

Very nice atmosphere in pleasant environment. Meals were very well done. Will go again.
