Very nice speak easy style bar, atmosphere is great with live music, the cocktails on the menu all seem sophisticated. Service was nothing to write home about though. The bartenders did not even bother to say hi. Just handed us some menus and prefered to serve other people before us, even though we were waiting at the bar and ready to order. We got ignored for the rest of our stay so we did not bother to order more drinks and left.

Version #2 of this iconic Canberra bar is vastly superior. Excellent selection of whiskeys and atmosphere as you would expect from a prohibition-styled bar. Live Jazz, private rooms and the brass & blackwood style decor.
