Great little hotel. Fantastic location, close to rail and bus and Chatswood shopping area. Really cute hotel, with great staff and really reasonable rates. A really sweet place to stay. I will be back for a repeat stay.
Comfortable and the most affordable in Lower North Shore. Book directly for the best price.nSmall rooms, but passable.nnThe beds didn't seem too old, but far from new.nnCommon kitchen and laundry available. Change available at reception for coin wash, dry and detergent.nnThe freezer needed defrosting - unusable.nnThe manager accidentally walked into our room without knocking, assuming that we hadn't checked in. Checking the register and knocking would have prevented this incident.
Although this hotel has a lot of potential, unfortunately the room we stayed in was dirty and in need of a lot of TLC. From the dirty carpets, walls and bathtub, this place is unkept. Luckily, the linens were clean. The nicest part about it was the cute balcony.
We had a lovely stay here. The rooms are well appointed and very clean. I loved the Victorian theme, cute and chintzy. The manager was very helpful and the late arrival procedure was seamless and easy. The price was very affordable as well. Highly recommend it
Not a cookie-cutter motel/hotel. Very clean, quiet, thoughtful decor to match the period, lovely balconies and amenities. Staff are friendly and inconspicuously efficient. If you like the trappings of magazine surroundings and anonymity where you can’t even open a window, this isn’t for you. If you want to feel genuinely welcome and relaxed, this hotel has it.
