The hotel is in a very convenient location, close to multiple shopping malls and the metro, making it ideal for travelers. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming, which created a positive first impression. However, there are areas that could be improved, particularly regarding cleanliness. Unfortunately, I noticed hair in the toilet left from a previous guest, which was disappointing. Additionally, the gym was quite small and consistently crowded during my attempts to use it, limiting its practicality.
The suite was very spacious, providing plenty of room to relax. While we did experience a couple of minor issues, such as weak cellular reception and a slightly sticky floor, these were small inconveniences in an otherwise enjoyable stay. The amenities were good, with a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, and modern bathroom. The staff was friendly and responsive, ensuring we had everything we needed. The location was also convenient, close to shops, restaurants and the train station. Overall, Meriton Suites at Chatswood provided a comfortable stay and great value, and we would consider staying again!
Not really in the class of 5 star hotel. Room service can be requested upon request and it was really poor when provided. They even didn't change the sheets. The supply of shampoo and body wash in the bathroom was not based on the number people in the room. Can be provided upon request but you should plan for it so early otherwise it may take so long to get them when you are taking a shower. The lifts were not working properly. There were 5 elevators but seems only one or max 2 of them were working. It was a long wait for the lift each time and it was already full when arrived on a busy day. The rooms and shower were ok.
Great hotel and facilities. Perfect location to park your car up for your stay and use trains. Within walking distance to great shops and restaurants.
I stayed at Meriton twice @ more than 21 days each. Apartment is spacious with decent kitchenware for those who stay long and would like to cook. Location is close to train station amd main road which is a bit noisy if you stay at lower floor, if you open the windows. The staff are friendly and helpful. I think cleaning of the apartment can be improved. I wished they would vacum the carpets in the bedroom and living room during weekly full service and not only wipe using a mop. I notice during my stay, the balcony has never been cleaned. Some death bugs remained on the balcony floor. Also, at the corner of floor of living room, cuts of paper tissue remained for more than 2 weeks. Not to mention below sofa & TV console. It would be a much nicer experience staying at Meriton if cleaning is done more thorough.
