I had the pleasure of staying at Silkari suites, and I can't recommend it highly enough. The warm and professional staff made check-in a breeze. The rooms were beautifully designed, impeccably clean, and equipped with all the modern amenities I could ask for. The bed was incredibly comfortable, which gave me the best night's sleep ever.nnThe location is perfect, with easy access to nearby shopping malls, restaurants and Chatswood train station. I also appreciated the attention to detail, from the high-quality toiletries to the well-stocked kitchen.nnOverall, Silkari Suites provided an exceptional experience that made my stay truly memorable. I look forward to returning on my next visit to the area. Five stars, without a doubt!
We stayed 4 nights. Great location. Close to the train, Westfield shopping, and restaurants. Facilities are excellent. Very bright and spacious rooms. In room washer/dryer is great. 24hr access to Anytime Fitness is a wonderful bonus. House keeping are excellent. Rooms are immaculately cleaned.nMy one ask for improvement is that not all, but some of the front desk staff could be warmer and more friendly. On occasions it felt like that they were doing me a favour in answering my questions.
Rooms are decently sized with good amenities. Aircon control panel in my unit had some issues and couldn’t be calibrated, and the hairdryer was missing a key part.nnCutlery is provided and there is a good range but some of them appeared to not have been cleaned enough.nnLocation is fine if you have business in the north shore.nnService is a little hit and miss. Put my crumpled “clean my room” badge outside the door and my room wasn’t cleaned.
Everything about it is good except for one thing: instead of an air conditioner remote, they have a touchscreen panel mounted on the wall to control the aircon. It is extremely unresponsive: half the time I tap it, and the screen just stays black. They need to get better user controls for the air conditioning: ideally something with real physical buttons instead of a glitchy touchscreen. Other than that, everything is perfect. The rooms are spacious and big, the beds are big and well constructed, and everything is very clean. Lots of useful appliances are provided in the rooms, and there is free, good quality coffee every morning. 4 out of 5. It would be 5 out of 5 with better air con controls.
2nd stay at Silkari. For travelers who don’t mind being in the suburbs, Chatswood is a great choice with train and accessibility. Silkari is about 5 mins walk from the station, offers long stay discount,and the rooms are service apartments with kitchen and laundry within. Location is perfect next to two malls. Also, easy to take train3stops to Macquarie Center the mega mall and city20 min train ride.
