I have stayed at The Castle, Villa by the Sea a number of times and have always loved every minute spent there. The staff have always been warm, friendly and very helpful and knowledgeable of the area.
Their rooms rooms are clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated with original artworks,  Most rooms look out onto the stunning gardens.
It's a great place for a quiet, peaceful getaway!I It is within walking distance to the beach and cafes/restaurants. and a  short drive to the Moto GP racetrack, Penguin Parade and other wildlife sanctuaries. The only problem you may encounter is that you do not want to leave!!!I

Cozy, quaint, relatively affordable; shared facilities mean you may have to interact with other guests, which can curb some of the feeling of privacy, but otherwise excellent!

I could only write a review by rating in stars, which I give zero. Did not have a pleasant experience. Spider webs in nearly every corner of the room, on the bed frame and spiders in the net hanging above the bed. Spa wasn't clean. Old towels that had white hair on them when we opened them up. The linen on the bed was worn out, had balled, not soft. 
Not child friendly in any way. 
For the big amount we paid, it was not worth it at all. Felt ripped off completely and when we approached the owners they just seemed to brush it off. We were not happy at all.
