It was just ok! Staff v friendly and helpful but v odd tasting ginger slice, I ended up chucking most of it. It tasted artificial and actually lacked sweetness. It was approx $6 and sadly not worth it. Coffee was ok but all served in takeaway cups despite us sitting in so environmentally not great, some improvements to be made!

The best coffee we had in Whangarei! The Black Stump Cafe, located within Huanui Fresh Produce was a welcome find after an afternoon at the nearby Adventure Forest. We found the service to be fantastic, the food to be great, and the coffee to be amazing. Highly recommended if you’re in the area or passing through.

With being in the area alot for Real Estate lately we visited Black Stump Cafe/Fresh produce/Gifts. It's a beautiful welcoming place, great food, great coffee and a lovely outside sitting area. Thumbs up for us! Miriam & Steve Team Davis with Harcourts

This place is certainly worth a visit on your way to the coast.  Lovely staff, excellent food and coffee and the best produce with organic supplies

The coffee is great. Rachel one of the baristas, knows her customers very well and the consistency and quality of the coffee she makes is amazing. Highly recommended!

Don't see the cost of $1 extra for soy instead of milk being justified!?? These days they are retail similar in supermarkets.
