We had lunch here after a day trip from Carterton. The food was lovely. The young guy and girl that served us were absolutely lovely and got our order just right. Hubby said it's the best " big breakfast " he's had for ages. Thanks guys.

Fab little cafe. Service is spot on. I was acknowledged straight away.Great setting for sit down meals. Coffee delicious and savoury muffin I had full of ham and cheese...loads of butter and heated. Yum yum.Food: 4/5
The eggs benne was amazing! Staff super friendly, they even gave us a complimentary milkshake as it was just after Xmas and they had leftover. Highly recommend stopping for this place if you're on your way to of from HB.Food: 5/5
Cute place and super lovely staff, but no iced drinks so I bought a $7 milkshake expecting a glass, maybe whipped cream. Instead got a $2-3 takeaways milkshake, same cheap syrup, same paper cup & plastic lid. Tasted artificial so I binned it. Food was extremely average for the price & the whipped cream on my meal was from a pre-whip can and dissolved immediately once it hit the food. Put more effort & quality ingredients into your food if you expect customers to pay cafe price, it's very misleading.

Stopped in on Monday on the way home and had the best french toast with bananas and Bacon ever! The bread was brioche, the Bacon crispy, and the bananas caramalised. It was perfect
such kind staff! Toys and books for littles to play with and to top it off, a change table with extra wipes and nappies! Will be sure to stop in again when we’re in dannevirke!
Great food.. Service was awesome and we even had a new staff member who was in training who did a great job and the lady training her was fantastic.... Good food was very yummy Ok have to add we came back the next day to buy a slice on the way home... One of the best slices we have ever had.. Tasty and yum well worth what you pay.. Have a milkshake which was also delicious... This place is great
Food was okay but service was terrible. They forgot our coffee. The swearing in the kitchen was terrible. Whole place could do with a good clean.
