This is a great place to stop by on our ride from Hawke’s Bay to Wellie. For some reason I start to starve 5mins to the McDonalds in Dannevirke. Food and service do not ever disappoint. Thank you for the great service and food. Definitely a great location.
I ordered a McSpicy burger and the patty was soo dry and stale. Hadn't left the car park so took it back inside, they offered to make me a new one, but came back out a minute later and said it would take 7-8 mins to make a fresh one. When youre paying 20 bucks for a simple burger chips and drink, you should be getting a decent quality meal, not stale dry patties. Try harder, do better.
The staff are so friendly here..and it's very clean!nIt's always a must to stop here during our journey. Never been disappointed
The rudest person I’ve come across in a while on the drive thru pick up window. Not sure why someone who can’t stand customers is in customer service. If you can’t say hello, can’t be pleasant, can’t take the scowl off your face it’s better to call in sick. Customers pay your wages.
We hadn't been to McDonalds for quite some time and remembering the last experience at this restaurant was a pleasant one.....so thought why not go back. Well we wish we hadn't and may as well have flushed $40 down the toilet. Fries were stone cold took them back for hot ones staff couldn't give a shit.....burgers cold and slapped together. Had to go back for spoons missing for sundaes. Waited for over 10minutes while the staff slowly and I mean slowwwly tended to drive thru only. The staff only know one speed and I'd hate to see them on a busy night in a big city. Big disappointment for our local that's for sure!
