What a beautiful cafe. The all white look is gorgeous and the food & coffee is really good quality. Would recommend the spicy scramble with mushrooms added.
Went for breakfast Hubby & I had brekky here, standard bacon & eggs for him which was nice, I had a protein bowl which was too dense & heavy, unfortunately not the best acai, actually couldn't taste the acai as it was too thick & frozen like ice cream. Iced lattes were the best items we ordered.
Love the decor of the place. Staff were friendly. Place was buzzing with peepz, so early on a Friday. Had the Eggs Benedict..and it was lovely too.
Best meal out of our entire 5day Magnetic Island trip and it was on the mainland at Beet Bar! Easy to spot on the corner with fairy lights outside. Very gram-worthy, clean & pretty inside. So grateful of so many vegan options, thank you!!! Had the golden latte & a vegan chilli scramble when they say chilli, it sure is on the spicy side!. Thanks for an awesome meal, would defs be back here if I get back to Townsville.
Absolutely delicious GF options and not a big wait time. Friendly staff and good atmosphere even on a rainy day!
Nothing special about the food for a pricey menu. The hazelnut drink they had was great though.
A nice-enough café with good service, but I thought my meal was vastly over-priced. $28.66 for a 12oz coffee and a small vegan breakfast. The single, small piece of toast was bordering on mean. The food was presented nicely and tasted fine, but not enough to tempt me back at that price.
Although the food was great, the portion sizes were not the best for how much you pay. For example I got the eggs benedict with a smoothie and it cost me over $40. With the aforementioned food, there was only one egg on one piece of toast and the smoothie was the only redeeming part of the meal. If the prices were lowered by around %25 e.g. $30 for the Eggs Benedict and Smoothie and the portions were increased in size, I could see the Beet Bar being a more popular location with the general public.
Ideally located near council buildings and other corporate offices. Cafe has a great vibe, spacious and lots of seating. Staff are friendly and efficient. The vietnamese iced coffee was delicious.
I paid $22.50 for a noodle salad with salmon and avocado. The skin on the salmon was soggy, the salmon overcooked and dry. 2 huge mint leaves, so very little flavour and 2 tiny bits of cucumber. Wilted leaves. I basically paid for cat food and compost as I took this home and after seeing it wasn't hungry anymore. I have a photo for proof. Won't go again and won't recommend, slow service, overpriced and rubbish food
