Went in for take away and was told on ordering that the food would be 30/40 mins which we were ok with. The restaurant was busy with only 2 members on who were rushed off their feet. After waiting for over an hour and 20 mins queried where our order was. Waited a further 15 mins for the food to come out. Throughout this there was no apology for the wait at any point in time and the food was unceremoniously dumped in front of us with a bark of yours from one of the staff. The food was of a distinctly average quality with my meal moulded to the shape of the tub. Appetizers were greasy. With the food quality issues and the service we received on the night will definitely not be going back.

Food here is authentic and very tasty. I talked to an owner and she said that chillis and some veggies were from her garden. Drunken noodle and whole fish thingy is the must if you go there, I didn't take any photo of it though.

Very Easn Thai food style the owner very friendly and kind. Food is yummy too.

The meals are quite a good size, and children are catered for, as well the meals presented were all well prepared, except for one entree which was not cooked sufficiently. The decor is a little rustic and we waited quite some time for our meals even though there were very few other customers. The best point is that all meals are very reasonably priced, so i would recommend this spot for family functions.

A family favourite restaurant but this time we felt the food quality has dropped a bit. Wondering if there are new owners or chef. Crying tiger was a bit tough and somehow not right with flavours. The curries were tasty, and I know Thai food has a lot of broth/gravy however we felt they lacked meats this time. Staff were friendly, helpful with a food allergy and attentive. Food was served within a reasonable time. It’s easy to get a park on the street out the front.

Huge servings! Great prices! Super delicious! Very accommodating to dietary requirements and had numerous vegan options on the menu although they are not labeled vegan. My sister and I shared the Sweet & Sour Stir Fry with tofu and vegetables, Coconut Rice and Roti with peanut sauce. Unfortunately the Vegetable Spring Rolls were brushed with egg and could not be veganised. Can not stress enough how delicious the food was, highly recommend!!

Our work group has just had a beautiful lunch at Reef Thai Licenced Restaurant.  The food was exceptional, the service courteous and prompt and with the outside temperature pushing 32° and 100% humidity, we dined in quiet air-conditioned comfort...   There were 15 choices on the Lunch Menu and at $12.50 for any one meal, definitely great value for money.  Any of the meals on the Lunch Menu are available to take away too if that is your preferred style of dining. At $10.90 good value. Or you can add a can of soft drink for a total of $12.50. The food was awesome, they made me specific food for my dietary requirements. Very accomodating and friendly from the moment we walked in.Seafood Fried rice was OK but only had one prawn. That's it!! No other seafood. Not worth the money. We asked for a Thai standard called klurn pung  chilli flake, sour,sugar and fish sauce

What great Thai  dishes cooked in the original way as in Thailand and  the spices were well balanced . The food was fresh, hot and above all plentiful This is my pick of Thai restaurants  in Townsville. Noi the owner and cook is very precise about her quality of meals and this is recognised with the presentation of the meals A great place for a business or social meal. The prices are very reasonable and the service is great. I highly recommend Reef Thai Restaurant.

We had an 8.30 dinner after the movies on monday night. Service was prompt and friendly. Food was great, freshly cooked, hot, full of flavour. Best Massaman Beef in town.
