I went in about an hour before closing with a large deposit. It ended up taking a long time to count, well past closing. The three ladies who served me were helpful, kind and gracious to myself and eachother, even though it was past closing. I really appreciated their patience and professionalism.
Terrible, I went into their building and there was vomit on the floor. In their bathroom feces were splayed across the wall and on the floor. The teller was super rude and arrogant and called me a “curry”. Which I find to be a highly racist and offensive term. Would not recommend.
A very basic bank that says there for there members but there not. They have lost what made them a member driven credit union. There now about profit without the options of a lot of bigger banks. Disappointing service, disappointing options for long term members. Time again would look elsewhere. 23.5.22 they take money out of the wrong account. Then 2 days later take a double payment out of the account. No sorry just pure incompetence.
After 5 attempts to call them and waits of up to 45 minutes in the queue I finally got to talk to someone. They called back as my 18 month old was having a meltdown. I asked for a call back in 30 minutes and the consultant told me she would be on her lunch break and asked me to go back to the 45 minute queue. I'm a teacher.... I don't have 45 minutes in the middle of the day and I have a toddler to look after when I get home I need you to pick up the phone and offer semi decent customer service.
I have been with this bank for over 10 years, and not once have they offered anything to assist. They're never afraid to take money from you, but 2 times in the last 2 years we have applied for a loan with them which we can clearly afford, and they make up stupid excuses to decline it. Have made up both our minds to change banks! During COVID you would think they'd offer more assistance. We are getting more assistance from banks we are not even with!
The Teachers Mutual Bank is great for many reasons. The personal service and competitive rates make it the best place to look after your finances. They also offer a car buying service and travel services. Credit and debit cards go without saying. The best thing is, they never bother you. Call, you get s person in under 5 minutes. Online banking is simple and foreign currency can be arranged. I'm a big fan.
A great bank in many ways but doesn't operate like it when transferring money from another bank or pension scheme. Always takes 2-3 days longer than CBA. Very inconvenient.
Applied for a new account and their customer service was fantastic. They are very helpful and knowledgeable! Thank you!
This is the most frustrating bank I have ever dealt with. The online banking lacks basic functionality such as access to bsb and account numbers to do a deposit from an external account and the customer service team talked over us with stock responses and wouldn't listen to our questions or attempt to answer them. If you're looking for a contemporary, helpful financial institution look elsewhere.
The new app for teachers credit union rarely works. It’s very frustrating. Very poor service.
