It's cheap and our room was clean. But pretty run down. Bed must.have been close to 50 years old. They had "run out of gas" so the advertised hot pools that are available for all guests were not hot. And the hired spa was not functioning properly, had missing pads and over treated so we started coughing when the bubbles were on.

Pet tolerant - not pet friendly. Pools both empty - and after asking about that told that the spa will be ready at 6pm. Very warm day - booked here because of promo material AND NO SWIM! Basic unit - yup - no water - 50m to communal facilities. Children's play space pretty awesome.

Not very organised.could be a great place,needs tender loving care. Owner moans about how people use the dryers and recycyle, you have to pay for a key to use the common room. Maybe if attitude of owners were better they wouldn't have so many problems. Felt sorry for the worker as she was left to run the place while owners partied and never came back till the next day.

Beautiful little spot. Quiet and peaceful. have driven past those Te Aroha hills a number of times, but its not till you stop and stay that you really appreciate them. Classic Kiwi bush and stunning backdrop. Te Aroha camping have also done a good job keeping the lights low, so you get a great view of that Waikato sky at night time. Very good prices as well. Stop for a look ;)

Very serene in a country setting and the accommodation was good. Would have been nice to get complimentary milk with the free tea & coffee, and have a jug for water.
