My family stayed in one of the cabins, which were definitely dated but great for the price considering the location. Toilets & shower blocks were clean, no problems with hot water in the showers. Very efficient & friendly communication from the office. Short walk to the beach and shops. The camp was very quiet, and family friendly!
Stayed from 1st - 5th Jan on a powered site with friends. It was busy but all of our fellow campers were friendly and helpful. Showers were great, no issues experienced with hot water. Kitchen was clean and easily accessible. Super easy to get to the beach and main street. All camp staff encountered were kind and helpful.
Average camp. Getting a bit run down. Not very obliging managers. Sign says free wifi. Only available in certain parts of camp. No paper towel in toilets . No waste water disposal at the time we were there
The initial price is more expensive than other resorts, then u have to pay a dollar for a warm shower. Our 2nd night we paid and had no hot water in any case. The first night we had to call the City council to complain about people partying at 10h30 at night to get them to quiet these people down. Really wasn't fun staying there for 2 nights.
A really good site with all facilities for a holiday stay with showers, toilets, laundry room kitchen etc. Lovely helpful and welcoming couple on arrival.Close to the town with a good range of shops and eating places. Very short walk to a big sandy beach and a little distance the the town wharf with it's jetty and drinks kiosk. Would recommend a stay here. Mike Hill January 2024.
