The owners were very accommodating and helped us to store our bags and gave very good local knowledge! The location was pretty good too, about a 20 minute walk to the centre of Hamilton. The tent pitch was flat and well covered with grass. The facilities around the campsite were good; hot showers, a T.V. room with books and board games, outdoor barbecues and a kitchen! There was both a rental charge and deposit for the cooking equipment. I felt this was unfair as if you require a kitchen, chances are you need the equipment also! We thought that a deposit was reasonable but to charge a rental fee on top was a little excessive; having a deposit held would be enough motivation to ensure that we took care of the equipment.

Pretty good. Peaceful and quiet. Good amenities for travellers. Stayed for 2 days and nights just to relax and explore. We came away with a good feeling.

Awesome clean tidy family friendly site with average/good facility's(kitchen,toilets,shower's etc)only reason for 3stars is the very steep price for both camping and cabins

Stayed in a 2 person camping hut for one night. Beds are separated (in case thats important). Hut is sufficient to sleep and provides a few amenities like chairs, table, several power outlets, water cooker and toaster. There was no trash can. Parking is in front of hut. NO free internet. Washer is $nz 5. Detergent can be purchased on site. Showers and facilities were clean. Gated access. Quiet area in the middle of town.

Ive walked in, after ive waited 30mins because she was on the phone, ive asked for the prices. This lovely lady said they dont give out prices. Its not public. Whattt??? I understand they dont do long term but i wanted to know the prices anyways. Also when i asked if she knows any other place she laughed and said everyone asking the same question. Ok..
