Very nice and clean place with friendly staff. Only downside is that wifi is slow and coverage is lacking, it will only work around facilities area, which are kept clean most of the time. Laundry and dryer cost $2 to operate, hot water in the showers is abundant, too bad soap is not filled up regularly nor the sanitizer for the bathroom. As a guest here you are also entitled for %50 discount for spa use.

Great place, spotlessly clean, staff exceptionally happy to satisfy accommodation requirements. Beautiful surroundings, great hot pools. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. Arrived there unannounced & requiring 2 adjoining units, they rearranged other bookings to accommodate myself & my Chinese clients.They really enjoyed the place & even went out and recorded the native birdsong on their mobiles at 5am in the morning.

I believe that my comment and rating is fair, accurate and reasonable based on the below: I booked in to receive my first-ever eyebrow waxing. I advised the person performing this that I wanted the lower brows waxed. Instead, the person elected to thread the upper brows. Yes, I received an apology. However, the payment for this service was also required. Few of the missing brows have returned. To DeBrett's itself, neither have I

WOW thank you so much, what I really liked about Taupo DeBretts, is your customer service and facilities. We have visited before. Debretts profile as a place for families is well deserved with the hot pools and spa, the only downer for the boys was the dragon slide and water playground having a annual maintenance. But the dragon slide resurface makes it look like new again. Having a background in hospitality we noticed the smiley faces, keep it up you guys.Oh the highlight was of our Taupo stop over was the Maori Cultural Experience.
