Such a beautiful camp ground the lake is 100% clear. There's lots of space but it fills up quick. Close by to town. Decent toilets.

One of the best freedom campsites I've been to In new Zealand. Loved to take a bath in the river because the water is clear af 
Toilets provided but a little stinky place to do the dishes and always a nice atmosphere with lots of likeminded travellers who are likely to help you out when you're in trouble for example when the car doesn't start

Beautiful spot however cleanliness is not high.  Toilets were disgusting from holiday revellers and lots of bottles/can left lying around.  Sad to see a beautiful place in such a state.  Please people put your rubbish in the bin or take it with you!

It's a really nice place with close to Taupo location. It has 4 chemical toilets available and it looks clean enough. Close to the river if you need to take a quick cold bath or do the dishes. Completely FREE

The scenery, the water, etc was perfect. Probably just needed a bit of crowd control. Because the litter is a little bit "annoying".

Litteraly, people need to know where to dump their craps.
