I went in yesterday 11/07/2022 to get some lunch. It was my very first visit to Tamarind. I was amazed to see the variety of curries they had. I bought almost all the curries. The food was tasty and gave me  such a nostalgic feeling about Sri Lanka. It reminded me of my mum's cooking : Purely home cooked - no fancy tastes which was excellent. The staff was friendly and efficient. Will definitely go there again. But one minor problem- the quantity of the main curry Fish, pork, chicken portions were too small.

Food is so delicious, but young servers workers aren’t serving the portion much. Pls advice to serve well the curries & rice in the box as we pay a good price for it. The young chef guy is doing a great job in cooking & in serving as well. Cheers to him

Can’t believe I have just found this place. I have a clinic just across the road. Great authentic Sri Lankan food. Really fresh. Was so good went there two days in a row. Will be a regular visitor.

Great food! My go to when I want a nice hearty meal and don't want to spend 3 course meal type prices. Only negative is that they never seem to have or always seem to be out of beef curry...

I have been waiting to go to this place for a while,  finally yesterday went and wow absolutely amazing food. Ordered almost everything just to try . The best sri lanken restaurant I have ever been , definitely will be back 10 out of ten , so delicious

One of the 'must try' restaurant in Narre Warren. There isn't much seating space but the food is really tasty. Most of the dishes are on a higher spice level. Village Pack 5 curries+meat/fish wrapped in a banana leaf and kuttu roti are our favs.Food: 5/5

This is honestly the most authentic Sri Lankan food joint in the area - very reasonably priced too. Love this place and the staff are always very friendly. :  Such a good find!

Fresh from when I was there about 7 pm / asked for a hot plate for food & obliged with a smile / enjoyed it very much

Everything is perfect but I hate long waiting here. One day I ordered kottu and took 25 minutes. Again same thing happened today. I don’t have any concern about food. I love food and staff is really friendly but needs to address this issue asap.
