Good variety of tools and reasonably priced, friendly and knowledgeable staff. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is due to a lot of products not having price labels. Have their website on your phone if you are browsing the store.
They advertise all sorts of stuff online that they don't have in stock in store, the stock keeping system of this place is atrocious. The staff in the Fyshwick branch could not be less helpful even if you can find someone who works there who isn't busy carrying out their own personal activities they are unhelpful and unfriendly. I try avoid shopping here wherever possible and my latest trip to the store this morning led me to be bothered finally writing a review about how useless this dump is. I won't be shopping here again
I bought a set of nail guns from these jokers, one had a known issue, I had to take it back to them 3 times each time they tried to tell me it was user error and that there was no issue with the gun. Finally got it replaced on warranty through the Mitchell store but that's the last time I use Sydney tools. It's in the name, they are definitely tools, just not the sharpest ones.
Absolutely love going in here, blokes are top notch and will bend over backwards for the customers, especially apprentices. Far better experience here then at total tools, the only downside is that the company should treat there staff better and I hope in due time that they do.
$600 spent online and it took 5 months and 4 different deliveries for my gear to arrive. Constant calls and reminders asking where my stuff is. Like others say, avoid online purchasing. ST is very quick to take your cash and not have items on hand for online purchases. They’ll forget about your order unless you remind them. Extremely poor.
