Having a carpenter/painter husband it’s always first choice to come to this Bunnings as for trade and special order they are better organised and have more options. We came to buy material for deck and pergola and they were very accommodating to what we needed. Very happy with customer service especially from the ladies at the trade desk. We have bought several items for residential jobs also our own home.
I rented a ute for 4 hours starting at 1 pm, with the understanding that it was to be returned by 5 pm. When I returned it at 4:30 pm, I was informed that I had already exceeded the allotted time and would be charged extra. Upon questioning, I was told that they calculate time based on whole digits, meaning from 1 pm to 2 pm is counted as 2 hours, not 1. According to their system, 1 pm is considered 1 hour, and 2 pm is considered 2 hours. This unconventional method of calculating rental time was unexpected, and I have never encountered such a practice before.nWould not recommend hire services from this particular store.
Found this bunnings to be very messy. There was stuff everywhere!nFloors were filthy and rubbish throughout.nNot well stocked with items.nVery hard to ger staffs attention at checkouts.nCarpark isn't designed for trailers.
I wanted to give a massive shoutout and thank you to Alissa, who went above and beyond today to help me. I came in a bit lost, not knowing precisely what to get. Alissa was so kindhearted and even went outside with me to look at my car twice to tell me what exactly I needed, and even helped me apply the tools to the task I needed them for. So once again thank you so much.
This has to be one of the worst Bunnings I’ve been to for stock control. They go for months with the same empty boxes left on the shelves - it’s quite clear they make no attempt to tidy or audit shelves between annual stocktakes. Even though I work almost next door, I prefer to drive to Majura or Belco Bunnings rather than get frustrated and waste time in Fyshwick Bunnings.
