Sydney Discus World Aquariums Shop

Went in to the store and both Peter and Nick were very helpful. I ended up buying a product (led light) that once I went home didn't quite suit my aquarium aesthetically (I'm fussy). When I called Peter and Nick back and explained the situation they gave me multiple options which I'm very pleased about. I would defiantly recommend Sydney Discus World to family and friends. Keep up the good work guys!

ONLINE BUYERS BEWARE! Not sure what the shop is like but my online purchase was a nightmare. I purchased an item and after a week of not receiving it I called and was told that the item wasn't in stock. I had to wait for the manager to call me back to find out what was happening. It took another week and 5 calls to finally get a hold of the manager who didn't know when the item would arrive in store so opted for a refund. After 3 more weeks and another 3 phone calls the refund still wasn't received. In the end I opted for a refund through a PayPal dispute which was finally paid. The customer service of this place is appalling and it's amazing they are still in business after reading the reviews and experiencing first hand

Doggy business operation, beware of online price and in store price, will not return again, there are heaps of other good aquarium shops in Sydney, if you don’t treat your customers fair, you will fail eventually. Good bye.

DO NOT SHOP HERE! I recently bought an acquarium set from them and seems like it was used. Called them up and was told rudely by staff that I was lying. I was finally put through to the manager/owner and was verbally abused by him. He was extremely nice when making the sale but very unhelpful and rude when I enquired about the product. He would not offer an exchange or refund. I will be escalating this alot further.

Not only is this place overpriced and extremely poor service but after my partner Julie left a poor review she received a very abusive msg through Facebook from a maz piper ! Obviously somehow related to this store ! For her benifit Julie owns over $8000 worth of high end discus ! In 2 6ft tanks and a 9-2-2ft so telling her she obviously couldn’t afford that shop she’s extremely wrong ! We came from Adelaide to actually pick up $4000 in discus and stopped at discus world looking for more ! What a bluddy joke !
