I came in to the Geelong store after hearing a really great review from a friend saying how helpful and informative the staff member who helped her was. I went in and was sorely disappointed. I was greeted politely, but when I tried to explain what I was looking for (expecting the same service as my friend) the lady who greeted me was condescending and clearly didn't care what I was saying. Instead of listening to me she interrupted me half way through and told me where the item I was talking about was, and where my size was, but that wasn't what I wanted just then. I was hoping for some helpful, professional advice and I was treated like an idiot. So, embarrassed and wanting help I asked another staff member about the price range on a type of suit. She looked at me like I was thick in the head and said "there are lots of different prices for those". Yeah, that's what I was asking? When I finally tried something on, no one came to offer me any advice or ask how I was going. I would have appreciated that, I don't shop for bathers often! I didn't get to talk to many of the younger staff, but the one I did seemed cheerful and friendly, so that was refreshing after being made to feel like an idiot by the more senior staff. I was prepared to spend some money here but I left feeling embarrassed and angry.

A few days ago I saw a rash vest but pointed out it had water staining on front .They offered to order a new one for me. Rang late Thursday to say it had arrived. When I said I'd try and get in the next day or it'd be next week the comment was "We only hold an item three days" As a result my husband made a special trip to pick up the vest the next day. When he returned he made comment to say Jan had bundled the item in at great speed. I lifted the unzipped item out only to see the identical watermarks still there. I phoned to advise them they had given me the old garment only to be told it couldn't possibly be the case as they'd returned it.. I advised I would be returning the garment for a refund immediately. Other than to make comment that I'd returned for a refund (for benefit of other customers ?) there was no other dialogue other than that necessary for credit card refund. Draw your own conclusions........

Staff busy chit chatting around counter on a Sunday arvo. Couldn't be bothered to serve us, so I helped myself online!!

I went into the Geelong store and was greeted cheerfully and invited to ask for assistance if needed. I told them what I was after and was then taken to the area of the store best suited to my size and shape. Within 10 minutes I had made my purchase and will never buy swimwear anywhere else. Outstanding service.

The place to go if you need some colour in your budgie smugglers (the pattern/styles, I mean!). Eyes straight ahead please past the dressing rooms! Friendly and really helpful people. Fitzroy store is a tad bigger but harder to move around!
