Sweetwater was the best accommodation we stayed in during our visit to Far North Queensland. Even though we were in the wet season the climate was mild compared to staying in the high humidity of Cairns. We had day trips to Mossman Gorge, the Daintreee, Cape Tribulation and the rest of the Atherton Tablelands with ease. On the days we didn't venture out we had fun exploring the river on the property with the kids. The owners welcomed us so we knew that they were down the road if we needed anything - but once we were set up left us to enjoy the tranquility.
