There is no other way to describe the Mai Tai Resort except for 5/5. The rooms are lovely. They are well kept and the mini bar is very cheap and well stocked. The mattress and pillows will try to keep you in bed all day because of how comfortable they are. The breakfast is delicious, consisting of all sorts of fresh fruit, fresh croissants, bread, cereal, coffee, juice and of course a great view. The resort sits on top of a hill, allowing for a great view of the worlds oldest rainforest, the Daintree and the coral sea. The resort is relatively close to many interesting things: the wildlife exhibit, the 4 mile beach, Port Douglas and much more. Even though everything is great, the best part is the owners. The owners show how much they care about you and how they can make your stay the best stay possible. Our trip had many flaws, but the owners did their best to fix them. 5/5

I have never stayed in a place where the hosts would go out of their way to make sure our stay was enjoyable in their villa and around Port Douglas! I honestly would not go anywhere else when I come back to Port Douglas. The place itself I extremely clean, spacious, has beautiful scenery as it sits on the outskirts of the daintree Forrest and makes for a beautiful drive in to Port Douglas when going out for some dinner. The guys have done a lovely job putting their dream all together. We will be back!

This is an Adult only Resort Hotel. Decor, Service, Atmosphere, Location and Views are all perfect.

For that WOW factor, book the Executive Villa - a secluded ridgetop paradise. It's HUGE, exceptionally well appointed in an authentic Balinese style and has spectacular views. The hosts (Anthony and Andre) are amazing. It's very peaceful here, being a small adults only boutique resort in the rainforest. Ideal for couples looking for the perfect romantic getaway. The villa even has its own pool with spa. My wife and I loved our fortnight here and hope to return soon.
