Just checked out today after a 3 night stay. This place is something special. Facilities, staff and food are first rate. We were unfortunately hit with horrible weather, which wreaked havoc with transportation in and out of the lodge. Paul and his staff were incredible in their handling of the situation, including covering stays at another high level resort, arranging helicopter transportation, etc. Truly exceptional service, for a situation completely out of their control. If you get an opportunity, get here. An unforgettable experience.

One of our favourite locations yet. We only stayed a couple of nights but the staff were so welcoming and incredibly helpful. When we had a medical emergency the team there went out of their way to make sure we had transport to the hospital, going as far as taking us there at silly hours of the morning. The manager and owner of silky oaks is an incredibly humble and generous man. He cares a lot about his land and how his guests experience their vacation ... every little things is thought about for you. Their food is delicious and their property is very well looked after. They’ve really preserved the natural surroundings and should be so proud of the contribution they’re making, by using the products they use and have in their rooms. No plastic, all natural fibres and utilities. Lots of private space and kept up with the modern times, oozing lots of class. We will definitely be back, and this time for much longer than before. Possibly the best place we’ve stayed in, the world over. ... And the best massage EVER. Thanks guys. x

Can't fault anything at Silky Oaks. Amazing location and ambience, stunning treetop luxury accommodation, friendly and very helpful staff, five star restaurant with exquisite food. The most relaxing experience with nature for a few days. Who could want more? Would love to come back.

After going to Silky Oaks Lodge for dinner last night, both myself and my partner agree. The food is of exceptional quality, absolutely beautifully presented and delicious. The staff were very polite and professional and the location was stunning! We will definitely be returning again in the future.

We came for a couple of days to kick off our honeymoon and have loved every minute of it so far. The only thing we we surprised by were the 'tree houses', as really, they are cabins. They are lovely though, and are incredibly comfortable. The food is spectacular, and as vegetarians, we were impressed that they had a seperate menu to accommodate this. We have come during the wet season, which was an error on our part, as sunbathing has been quite difficult.
