Went there to buy one of the car fresheners this arvo, but didn't get a good customer service from a man who served me. I asked him if he could check in their system if there's any other stores nearby that still have it? He did ring one store to ask them about it, but I could tell from his gesture that he was a bit hesitate to do that. He asked me, 'How many are you after?'. I replied, "I just need one. Probably two.". Do the customers need to buy more than one item to get a good customer service at Supercheap Auto or something??? The man who served me today kept saying, "Those stores are probably busy if I call them". It's about at least 20 mins drive one way to the other nearest Supercheap Auto. I think it's pretty reasonable when I asked his favor to check it in their system before I go there. The store was empty when I was there, it's not like there were customers lined up after me. And he was only busy talking to his female co-worker at the counter anyway. If I may compare it to my experiences with K-mart and Chemist Warehouse, Kmart and Chemist Warehouse served a lot friendlier and more helpful to me. When I was after one particular toy for Christmas present at Kmart, the lady who served me helped me to find which store that still had it at the time. She rang a few stores and asked them to keep it aside for me, as I was gonna collect it straight away. The lady at Kmart was really helpful, eventhough it was busy towards Christmas. Also with Chemist Warehouse, when they didn't have the particular supplements that I was after, they offered me to check if there's any other stores still have it without hesitation and asked them to keep it aside for me. I get it that sometimes we have had our bad days. But, working in retails that face customers daily, you need to have a good customer service regardless if you're in a good mood or bad mood. I have had my bad days when I worked in retail too, but I always gave my customers my best customer service and put a happy face on when I served my customers; regardless if they just purchased one item or a dozen.
Well stocked store, plenty of options for what I needed. Go there regularly for auto parts.
This low star is just for my recent order. I used to buy car stuff from this store and the guys were always helpful. BUT the last time it was a nightmare. I ordered a "Special Order" item online to be collected form this store. The order was annoyingly delayed by the vendor, not Supercheap auto. However, as a customer I expected to be notified in advance about the delays by the store or the online team. The item was delayed three times in total, and I was never notified. I rang them several times ocasioanlly and asked if the item has arrived, and they said sorry it's been further delayed by the vendor. Don't be sorry, just let the customers know in advance. Won't order items labeled "Specail Order" anymore. Ordered on 11th of May and cancelled due to the delay on 29th Jun
Great store nice layout and big. Just a shame they don't stock hosing tube by the roll anymore
Helpful staff with a smile ,has all you need for your car.
Arrived in store around 10am no staff on the floor to assist but I suppose being Sunday and wages are higher may be tgd reason for it.
Awesome service from Laura! Really took the time to help me out and being such a diligent worker. Get her a raise or even better, promote her! You won’t regret it! She will look after us customers if you look after her :
