This is by far one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in nnAll of the staff members are super welcoming and helpful. I want to give a special thank you to Max, Sophie and Margot. They're the best!nnYou can't miss the best pancakes on Sundays nnIt's a great location, you're 10 minutes from the beach! I recommend it if you go to St. Kilda to stay in Summerhouse, you won't regret it.

I recently had a great stay in St Kilda, Melbourne, and I can't recommend it enough! The location was perfect, just a short walk from the beach and close to vibrant cafes and shops. The atmosphere in the hostel was really friendly and laid-back.nThe rooms were clean and comfortable, with plenty of space to relax after a day of exploring the city.nOverall, my experience at this hostel was fantastic. It offered a fun, welcoming environment and was a great base for exploring Melbourne. I would definitely stay there again on my next visit

I've been living here in the past month and I couldn't ask for a better hostel...the ambient is very friendly, the staff too. The rooms are cleaned every day and the common areas TV room, kitchen, bar and rooftop are well managed. Also the position of the hostel is strategic because is near the beach and the main street of St Kilda like 10 minutes by walk. I think I'll stay here for another month!!

I haven’t been there yet I surely will when needed as I had to cancel my reservation due to new Christmas plans. Max and the Summer House Melbourne team helped me to sort things out quickly and thanks to them I’ll enjoy my Christmas festival stress free !n5 stars customer service for sure. Thank a lot, good luck with busy season and merry Christmas to all !

I have been staying at summer house for about a week. I’ve stayed all round the world as I am a highly skilled architect, I checked this place out and had a look at the photos like ya do. Something about it said it’s the place to be. I rocked up check in was a breeze, my room, hells bellls I wasn’t expecting such a nice room and being on a busy road, I was fully expecting at least some feedback road noise, but to my delight I think it’s actually quieter than my own house on a residential road. In any case I’m not one to normally right a review unless something is worthy of it. This place is golden. The staff are more than not rude they accommodate and make you feel special. So I recommend, you have all the usual food wine and beach on your doorstep. Do yourself a a favour check it out, also if your feeling tired have a chill out in the media room. 5* from me team summer
