It was a fine place to stay. My partner and I wasn’t told of a bond until we got there. There was no mention to pay a bond on any website. They did not explain it was a preauthorisation charge and it doesn’t show on your bank statement so there was no way to see if it was sent back into your account. The staff were also very rude when I called them about this authorisation details.
Best value for money in Melbourne! Ignore other reviews. You pay $180 for a similar room in a backpackers and still share a bathroom! Tv, desk, new ensuite, soap, towels and TRIANGLE FOLDED TOILET PAPER! Staff were super accommodating.
Like many review said, the room quality has a large room to improve. However, their reception Stephanie managed to solve all my problems. My experience therefore has been completely satisfied. A 5 star and a 10 out of 10 for Stephanie, people like her has the power to making travellers feel kindness and care.Rooms: 2/5
Do yourself a favour and book a different venue. Bought a discounted 1 night. Room was in a separate building. Chair so wobbly it was astounding the legs were still attached. Leaking shower head, inconsistent hot water. Couldn't fill kettle due to tiny tap, tea and coffee but no spoons. Detritus on floor from previous guest. Carpet stained. All of that paled in comparison when a domestic violence situation started in apartment next door between 3am-5am. Called reception. They quieted down somewhat, yet intense audio persisted. - thin walls. Pretty distressing night.
Ill never stay here again, very difficult to get a good night sleep. There's no sound proofing so easy to hear the noisey people in the room next door. The staff are monotone with little personality or friendly service.
For the price it great, I thought at first the bed was hard but had the best sleep. 2 coffee shops near by and parking available but tight. They do take a bond but if you domt break anything you don't loose it.
Disgusting place, smelt like cigarettes. There was so many holes in the walls it was dirty and instead of a proper double bed they put 2 single beds together. Would not recommend this place. On top of all that the staff were extremely rude and very slow at doing their job.
1. Basement car park not convenient, need to get down the car the scan the card manually. 2. The card cannot access the basement car park lift, caused us to walk around to the hotel room. 3. The room is not what I expected, it is not the same as agoda described. 4. The private bathroom is very dirty and smelly.
Great hotel, warm welcome, room very convenient for the price, near good location, definitely recommend it!
Disgusting. To add insult to injury they also kept my deposit money and the room was not even made when I turned up. Shocking stay away. Filthy. Anyone giving this place 5 stars is on crack,severe brain damage or has been bribed.
