I had a fantastic 8-day stay at Nomads St Kilda! The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and always ready to help, which made settling in super easy.nnThe hostel has a great bar and restaurant on-site, and there’s entertainment every night, which adds a fun vibe. Breakfast is simple—toast, pancakes, and tea—but it’s a nice little touch that makes mornings enjoyable.nnI stayed in a 4-bed dorm, which was surprisingly peaceful. The rooms are comfortable, though the showers are a bit dated. Towels aren’t provided, but you can rent one for $5. The mattresses are firm, but I got used to them after a couple of nights.nnIf you prefer tranquility, I’d recommend booking a room on the top floor, as it can get noisy with the evening activities.nnOverall, it’s one of the nicest hostels I’ve stayed in, and I would definitely come back!
I've been to a double private room, we got upgraded to a deluxe one. The receptionist were very friendly, they are really here to help you with everything !nThe bar is also very good and you don't hear it from the rooms. We did the trivia activity and that was such a good fun, thanks to the two friendly guys who organised it !nThe room was very clean and great.nIt's hard to judge a hostel without having been in the dorms but I have to say that my experience has been very good.nOne thing I didn't really like is that the kitchen was quite small compared to the amount of people.nI would recommend this hostel if you want to be a little but out of the cbd but stay in a fun place close to the beach !
Nomads is my first hostel, and I’m absolutely thrilled.nI have a great room, and the service and housekeeping staff are outstanding—as is the service at the front desk. Someone is always there 24/7 to answer questions and address concerns! I’ve met Kathi and she’s amazing!nShe’s a young, very friendly woman who’s always patient and answers every question. Great service! I’d recommend it again and again!!!
The hostel is very nice and well-maintained overall. Everything is clean and organized, which makes the stay comfortable. One small improvement could be providing basic kitchen essentials like sugar, salt, or milk, as these are usually helpful for guests.nnThat said, the hallways can be quite noisy at night, which makes it a bit difficult to sleep. It feels more like a party hostel, so it might not be ideal if you’re looking for rest or a quiet environment. There’s also no dedicated study or work area—aside from the bar, where there is usually music playing and people hanging out or playing pool.nnOverall, it’s a great place if you’re looking to socialize and enjoy a lively atmosphere.
This hostel is so fun and entertaining, they have so many events and things to do! The bar staff are top gs! Always greeted with a smile by the top dog sammie at the door!nnAlthough this review is really for the mvps the receptionists Luke and Ronnie, they are fantastic Luke does anything and everything above and beyond and Ronnie is so smiley and welcoming, always keeping everything in line whilst keeping everyone happy!
