Located in the lofts of the picturesque Rundle St, Sugar is an intimate art club with 5 pool tables, an art gallery, and a fine selection of beverages.

Story

Open Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday night from 9 pm until 4 am with sound selectors, a vintage rotary mixer with a funktion-one system, an extensive cocktail menu, fresh local artists on the walls and talented pool sharks circling about.

This place has amazing music. Staff are nice and relaxed and the vibe of the club matches that. I’ve been coming here for years and I wouldn’t have had the opportunity to see some of the incredible international artists I have if Sugar wasn’t there!
We’ve thrown a lot of parties here over the years with some international heroes of ours. Sugar is the home of quality underground dance music in Adelaide. Don’t think twice.
Truly a club for lovers of music and for those that love to dance. The world’s best DJs every week and an art gallery that changes monthly!
Venue smelt like eggs and the toilets were horrid. The music was okay, was a bit boring and had to pay $20 to get in when there was no big act playing. Staff were rude when joking about the atmosphere and stairs were hard for me to walk up due to my personal issues that require me to use a walking stick : overall very disappointing
Great venue for a drink, game of pool and dance.
