Great pub, very friendly staff, very professional. I was told this place is like an ‘institution’ and a must visit if in Adelaide city. This place didn’t disappoint, that’s for sure. I hope I’m lucky enough to get a chance to visit again sometime soon.
Very cool. Fantastic artwork displays on every wall. Excellent staff, great beer selection with good food. Yep, go here.
Veggie options are awesome, the eggplant parmigiana is the best, but the mushroom burger w fries were a bit too spicy for me.
Great tasting food. Really good quality ingredients, nice friendly staff and just a great atmosphere to hang out. Highly recommend!
One of the oldest pub in Adelaide and I do like them. The only minus was louder music in the pub. Couldn't have proper chat with my buddies while we were drinking.

Had a pretty decent meal at The Austral. Beer selection is reasonable and the atmosphere is that simply of a pub. Practical bar service, pay and go drink your beer, easy.
Looks like a dingy pub from the outside but its always packed which is a good sign. They have a good selection of beers on tap and the food is really good at quite a reasonable price. Had a piece of grilled barramundi which was better than some more upmarket pubs or even restaurants. Go figure. The $21 burger and pint deal is good value too and they do a pretty awesome burger
Such a good experience. Staff were brilliant when my friend spilt her drink It was immediately cleaned it up and they made her a new one. It was above and beyond.
