We stayed in the Franklin for 10 days while we were in Adelaide on holidays. It's in a great location a couple of minutes walk from some lovely dining spots and good nightlife. The Franklin has its own bar with a bespoke menu and an assortment of delicious craft beers. The staff are all very friendly, relaxed and helpful. The rooms are very spacious and decked out to modern boutique spec. The bathroom is quite large and open with a fantastic free standing bath. All in all delighted with this gem of a find, we really enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be visiting the Franklin again.
Stopped by for some Christmas drinks with my workmates and to exchange gifts. We were in the charming beer garden. Food and drinks were great and the service was excellent. Great range of beers and SA Wines too.
I went for lunch with some work friends. I had their vegan burger which was delicious- the patty was made of rice beans and veggies I believe but the crust on it was amazing and stopped it from being soggy like other burgers of this type. I can't comment on the non vegan food. The staff were amazing and the prices were a little on the dear side but not too bad.
Prisca was fantastic as our waitress. We chose Steak sandwich, prawns and 2 of the special Salmon. Food was delicious and good value for money. Can highly recommend. Great atmosphere.
This place was great for our purposes; we came very early but they gave us the room immediately - because we did check in early the welcome package was not available though. The rooms were trendy and large and excellent value. The cleaning crew were spectacular, changing sheets and restocking the free minibar daily. The location is good but if you are looking for a quiet relaxing experience this may not be for you as there is a pub downstairs, and the main road and air con definitely contribute to the noise. The hospitable staff, key dropoff and spectacular bath are standouts.
Absolutely loved eating here. Food was great and the atmosphere was very relaxed. The beer garden was a brilliant spot to have a few craft beers and dinner
Ordered 2 children's meals to take away. Supposed to be chicken schnitzel, chips & salad. When we were given the meals, there was no salad. When I asked about that, I was told the salad isn't included as most children don't eat it. I replied that it should be removed from the menu. I don't think I should pay for something that is advertised, when I don't get it. Department of Trading would think that way too !!!
Great place for a beer on a Sunday after the marathon one of the few places that opened at 11am, bar man is such a nice chap, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. Good dark beer but lots of other options as well, easy background music, nice atmosphere.
I’d heard the legend of Franks Weiner so thought I’d better check it out. Did not disappoint, not very girthy but damn it was a long boi. Missus had the duck n that was chewy as. Decent selection of beers.
Had lunch here with 2 others on Feb 14th 2023. Ordered the special Hot Dog and 4 hours later I kid you not it was special. 12 hours of being so sick is an understatement. Food poisoning is the worst and I can only say as I didnt have breakfast that day it was here for sure. Please do not let this happen again. I contacted them 3 hours after lunch saying I wasnt feeling well and all I got was we will let the chef know. Please dont let this happen again.
