Strike Bowling Entertainment Quarter

I booked for 20 adults to play two games of laser tag. Unfortunately as we did not book for 24 adults (which is max capacity), they placed 4 young primary school aged children in with us for both of the games. I feel that this is not only extremely unfair for the children but also as adults having to pay close attention to young children so they do not get hurt. This really made things not as enjoyable as they could be, and to top it off these children kept giving us the middle finger every time we shot them! The facility was otherwise well maintained and fun but the placement of the blue base box is extremely easy to shoot from at a distance. Also, they don't appear to clean the vests between games (and there was a lot of sweat happening).

Went as a group of 10 people and played Lazer tag, bowling and completed the escape room, shoutout to Ruben who made the night even more enjoyable

I was going to rate one star but then I came first in Lazer tag so I will give another star just for that :) (proof below) However, when I attempted to enter the building, the man checking IDs said that they couldn't accept it because they ONLY accept NSW IDs, my ID was from ACT so it's not like it was foreign or anything. I immediately told him that there was no way, in the world, that they could do that and he further explained that they only accept NSW IDs. As someone who has done there RSA there is NO WAY that this is true and in my RSA training I can confidently say that we get ID validity drilled into us so there is no way that he has done his RSA training. I was further astonished that he then went behind the bar even though as I said there was no way he has done his RSA. To make matters worst I then was explaining the situation to my friend as I was shocked and distressed and didn't know what to do. And another lady came up to me and said "I overheard and we do take that ID but that attitude isn't going to get your anywhere" ARE YOU KIDDING ME???!!! I was not rude I didn't say anything mean, I was just shocked and was unsure how to explain myself. To be called rude and be given unwanted life advice for simply trying to explain to YOUR worker how to do HIS job in the politest way I could is INSANE! Also there must have been atleast 100-150 people in this place and I only saw two workers. Which was made worse by the 20 minute wait to the bar. And then when I got to the bar I HAD TO PAY $6 FOR A SOFTDRINK!! THIS ISNT A BAR THIS IS A BOWLING ALLEY!! UNBELIVEABLE!!

Bowling was excellent and the escape room was lots of fun (out first time). Staff were friendly and helpful throughout.
