Hosted my 50th birthday party at the Balgowlah Bowling Club last weekend. Such a fantastic venue for a party with expansive views over the valley looking out to the ocean in the distance. Food was plentiful and delicious and the relaxed atmosphere was wonderful! Everyone had a great time! Highly recommended! I look forward to hosting more events here in the future!

The Bally is one of the Northern Beaches’ best hidden treasures. Whether you’re hosting a community event, a family gathering, or just want an easy afternoon of lawn bowls, this place delivers every time. The original 1950s retro interior is still beautifully preserved, giving it an old-school charm you can’t manufacture. Staff are lovely, the vibe is relaxed, and everyone feels welcome. Highly recommend!

This hidden gem in Balgowlah offers a wholesome and fun venue. The food, especially the lasagne, is absolutely delicious. Enjoying drinks and bowls with an awesome view of the water makes for the perfect weekend. Have been here two weekends in a row and Trivia Thursday is also a blast. Highly recommend to everyone!

Great spot for a casual drink- gives pub vibes but with much much better food.nnCarly May’s kitchen is INCREDIBLE! If you’re English and like a curry, Carly’s curry is so good.nnGreat spot for events and parties, and the bowling has some iconic views.

Quintessential old school bowlo. Fun n friendly. Loads of things for the kids to get into. Great drinks range. Definitely worth a detour to check it out
