I drove past several other Supermarkets on my way to do the weekly shop at the new IGA Stoneman’s Village Supermarket at 134 Condon street Kennington. On arrival I was impressed with the size of the store, it had large aisle-ways that made trolley movement simply a breeze. The choice on offer was excellent with fresh and packaged items as well as frozen. Modern display units, along with the excellent aisle signage, made shopping a breeze. I found the store to have all the stock I wanted in very logical locations. The staff I spoke to were eager to help and with a smile. They were not ducking for cover, or trying not to make eye contact like you find elsewhere. I found some super specials too which assisted with the budget. I took a moment to reflect on the name of Stoneman’s from the past and instantly thought of the good ol’ fashioned service we got back then. Well done to the team!!! A true showcase of a store. I am actually looking forward to returning next week or maybe sooner. n**Store is still looking great and is neat as a pin.
I have given 3 stars, reason being, like to shop there. The deli is really well stocked and set out.nPrices a touch above the competition, but we'll set out and friendly, fresh fruit and vegetables etc, helpfull staff...... but, I purchased a stuffed rolled lamb, cooked and had for dinner, but well didn't have for dinner. It was nice of you to put some lamb with the stuffing, but it was so tough, fatty and sinewy I couldn't eat and had to throw it out.nWent back at Christmas, I pretty well always try again. I wanted a lamb shoulder, spoke to the butcher, bought out a 2.6 kg piece prepared, it the old fashioned way he said, good price and, I cooked for 12 and a half hrs to a recipe, it was beautiful!!Cheers

Reduced fruit & vegetables are cheaper than other foodstore and also very fresh every Thursday. Great customer service
One of the nicest IGA supermarkets around. Good selection of stock, friendly staff, nice wide aisles.
