I honestly feel most of the staff here have just flat given up.nRecent visits to this Woolworths have found the staff disrespectful and unprofessional; especially during closing announcements - I get goofing off at work to try and bolster the morale of yourself and fellow Co-workers as even I have done it; but you absolutely do not do it at the expense of your Customers.nnSuch examples with those announcements were purposefully delaying sentences or words by multiple seconds, leaving what should be a 10 second announcement drag on for nearly a minute.nOther times it's been staff at checkouts just flat tossing items into bags without a care in the world - with another occasion a staff member had to replace a bag 4 times from throwing things in and the bag tearing.nnWhat also makes me think the staff don't care is the produce on shelves - I've found on almost every in-store shop a product that is past it's use-by date, which is typically their small lunch box yogurts.nAnd this goes for the last time I shopped here when closing, I tried asking staff for assistance in finding a product, but was completely ignored because they were packing up or grabbing their own items to buy before the store closed.nnWoolworths I already know has tarnished it's own reputation and I get the staff are probably being hit heavily by it, but don't take it out on your Customers.
Firstly I was very polite to all staff. Had 6 items, no express checkout. I asked a staff member in the self serve area, where to get filters for tobacco. He said I had to line up in the checkout get my items then they save the amount and I have to go to the front. There were 2 checkouts open, both had a couple of very loaded trolleys. After 15 minutes I got to checkout, had items put through, the girl just walked off without saying anything, when I asked about getting the filters. I just followed her, then the same guy served me. What terrible service!!!! He could have just done that in the first place, there were 4 staff members in the self serve area. ps they didn't have the filters I wanted anyway.
Waiting for over 40 minutes in the direct to boot line. One lady doing it all by herself.nThe car in front was told they had misplaced some of their order and to park and someone would re pack it right away after already waiting 40 minutes!! Not to mention the 4 cars behind me of people who have also been waiting just as long. Everyone is very unhappy & cranky! Would not recommend this Woolies for direct to boot ever!
On Thursday 24 October I visited Woolworths Golden Square looking for a particular item. I was assisted by a young lady named Danica who went to great lengths to help me with my enquiry. I was so impressed with her enthusiatic and wonderfully happy way in which she went about trying to help me. She has such wonderful customer service and communication skills. Even though I was unable to get what I was looking for no longer produced Danica's wonderful service dispelled my disappointment.
Woolworths did not have eggplants, cauliflower or fresh ginger available for purchase in their fruit and vegetable department. There were no staff members in fruit and veg but three staff members were conversing in front of the dairy section. When I asked if they had those items out back, I was told I'd have to get someone from the fruit and veg department to help me...this was poor customer service and not at all useful as I did not know who worked in that department, or where I could find them.
