Seems to be overall better than woolies more choices and prices seem a little better. More staffed checkouts so that's a bonus and so far haven't had to return anything to the deli so I believe the freshness of produce is better, haven't had to endure pushy charities at main entrance like some other supermarkets.
It was a bit hard to find through the arcade and Carpark with no signs pointing to the entry. People were exiting through the entry door and the exit was on the left, not the right, so doesn’t work for Australia.nnThe Coles itself is big enough and like any standard Coles, but I can’t rate a Coles or Woolworths higher than a 1 when they’re extorting their customers with their duopoly.

Coles was easy to find and convenient, lots of checkouts, has most things in stock.
Absolutely disgusted in the security guards behaviour today. Today I entered the store at the same time as 3 men of colour, immediately two young girls in the self check out and the security guard very obviously came up with a plan for them to be watched. I followed with outrage ready to step up if anything escalated because I personally would’ve called the security guard out, realising now that’s a privilege. The security guard then followed them to the back of the personal hygiene aisle and pretended to take a phone call. The boys were discussing what singlet would best go with an outfit so were there for a little while the security guard watched from the other end of the aisle. Not only were these boys very clearly racially profiled but because of this they missed the junkie white man I was able to catch walking straight out with a basket of groceries unpaid for. It’s 2025 and I am gobsmacked that this is still happening. The boys paid for their items and left. I will never support this Cole’s again.
